RERA Registration

RERA registration is a statutory requirement under the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016. It mandates that real estate projects, developers, and agents register with the respective State Real Estate Regulatory Authority before conducting regulated real estate activities

The primary purpose of RERA is to protect property buyers, promote transparency in property transactions, and ensure timely completion and delivery of projects.

Each state has its own RERA authority, such as MahaRERA, UP RERA, and Karnataka RERA, responsible for regulating projects within its jurisdiction.

Once approved, a unique RERA registration number is issued and must be displayed in all advertisements, brochures, and promotional materials.

RERA Registration

The Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) was introduced under the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016 to improve transparency, accountability, and efficiency in India's real estate sector.

All developers, promoters, and real estate agents are required to obtain RERA registration before advertising, marketing, booking, or selling eligible real estate projects in India.

RERA helps protect homebuyers from unfair practices while ensuring that real estate businesses operate in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements.
